An NYPD crew rescued the son of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, from a helicopter after it was forced to perform a “controlled” emergency landing in the sea off the coast of New York’s Jones Island Beach on July 19.
McMahon, who was the only passenger in the Robinson R 44 helicopter, was unharmed in the incident. The pilot, whom New York’s ABC 7 identified as Mario Regtien also was uninjured in the unexpected landing.
